    Marcus,

I came across your link on Jenn Lee's sight. I took a few moments and watched the short film. I continue to be amazed at how humbling the scriptures can be. As I was driving home from work my mind was racing with all the “things” I still need to get done before Christmas, getting aggravated by traffic (caused by people getting more “things” at the last minute) around the mall and tons of other trivial thoughts, but I can honestly tell you that not one of them was focused on what the true meaning of Christmas is to me. I think I represent many of us today with our hurried lives our never ending “to do” lists and things that at the time seem so very important. I know that I lose sight of the core of my beliefs and need reminded of what this holiday represents and attempt to honor it better than I have up until now. Thanks for the eye (and heart) opener!

It's funny, Heather and I were driving this morning and I was just listening to the Christmas music on the radio and noticed the same thing - the lack of Jesus in the season. I'm not opposed to Santa or even consumerism, but it is important to remember the reason we celebrate. Thanks for the comment!
